The hotel offers a lovely and cosy stay, perfect for enjoying the main high street, shops, bars, golf course, and beach. The service is of a good standard with pleasant staff, and the cooked breakfasts hit the spot.

The rooms offer a pleasant and private view over the Links. The sofa bed we had didn't have a wooden base, so when you sat down, the cushions sank down into the bed base. Would benefit from some TLC.

The service was to a good standard with pleasant staff who handled our check-in swiftly and efficiently, having their own pillow preferences. Room service, housekeeping, and laundry were all very pleasant and professional.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in the Montrose area. The location is fantastic, near the main high street, shops, bars, golf course, and beach. The staff even gave us the option of a less formal dining area, the conservatory, which was a great choice for us, especially with a little one. The food was incredible, and the service truly made our experience memorable.
